About The Role
We are seeking a result-driven and ambitious Regional Sales Manager to deliver the financial objectives for the Sydney Metro Region. As part of the Field Sales team, you will manage and develop a team of Independent Sales Contractors responsible for daily ordering, delivery, merchandising, and compliance of bakery products. You will also focus on profitable sales growth in the Independents channel through direct selling and in-store execution of our bakery and grocery products.
Territory: Sydney Metro Region
Responsibilities
* Manage, mentor, and train Independent Sales Contractors to meet strategic objectives
* Drive in-store execution excellence across bakery customers
* Lead contractor meetings to set priorities and manage performance
* Conduct performance management and disciplinary actions as needed
* Perform business reviews with customers to align strategies and enhance engagement
* Develop and manage B2B relationships
* Expand business opportunities across various market routes
About You
* Minimum 3 years FMCG sales experience
* At least 2 years in people management
* Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other information systems
* Experience with new customer development and relationship building
* Understanding of supply chain drivers in FMCG
* Self-starter with initiative
* Valid Driver's License
* Growth mindset and adaptability to change
