Your new role
As a Rates Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Administering and managing property rates and charges
* Maintaining accurate records
* Processing ratepayer enquiries
* Reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
* Processing interim rates
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a rates or revenue role within local government (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of property rates administration and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in TechnologyOne or similar financial systems.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
