We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and data‐driven Business Analyst to join our Finance team in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the development of annual budgets and associated systems
* Partner with program managers to interpret budgets and analyse payroll and operational variances
* Develop and maintain Excel‐based financial models for tenders and submissions
* Prepare and distribute end‐of‐month, quarter and year‐end reports
* Analyse data, reporting outputs and business processes to recommend improvements
* Support timely and accurate invoicing, funding management and delegated administrative tasks
Requirements
* Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within the not‐for‐profit and human services sector
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a similar discipline and CPA/CA qualification (or working towards)
* Demonstrated understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Strong analytical skills, with experience developing financial models and analysing data from multiple sources
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, experience with PowerBI and TechnologyOne is favourable
* Well‐developed stakeholder engagement skills, including strong written and verbal communication capabilities
* High level of attention to detail, accuracy and accountability, with a continuous improvement mindset
Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful
* Valid Queensland Driver's Licence with no restrictions
* QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
* Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
* Ability to provide two references from recent employers (including your current line manager)
* National Crime Check (a new check will be completed through IFYS systems)
