Senior Cultural Heritage Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cultural Heritage Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Cultural Heritage Specialist, you will be responsible for leading a team of cultural heritage specialists and working collaboratively with our national heritage team to deliver meaningful and sustainable heritage outcomes across Australia.
The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of fieldwork experience in First Nations cultural heritage or archaeology and comprehensive knowledge of QLD aboriginal heritage legislation and the statutory approvals process. They will also have exceptional writing and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices, and a valid Australian driver's licence.

About the Role
* Lead a team of Brisbane-based cultural heritage specialists
* Build relationships with new and existing clients
* Work collaboratively with ERM's national heritage team
* Conduct First Nations cultural heritage and archaeological surveys and assessments
* Provide technical advice and services to clients while honing project management and technical skills
* Develop and grow in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment
Requirements
* A tertiary degree in archaeology, anthropology, Australian First Nations studies, or a related discipline
* 8–10 years of fieldwork experience in First Nations cultural heritage or archaeology
* Comprehensive knowledge of QLD aboriginal heritage legislation and the statutory approvals process
* Exceptional writing and communication skills
* Familiarity with WHS obligations and responsibilities
