Our client, a Federal Government Department, is looking forSenior Microsoft Power Apps Developerfor a contract role with an initial 6-month engagement and a likely further extensions.
The right candidate could be located in any of several Australia cities, with the ability to work remotely and possibly travel to their HO in Canberra, ACT, from time to time.
* MANDATORY, all candidates must be an Australian citizen andhold a current Baselineclearance OR be able to obtain Baseline clearance,
* All candidates must have the skills and experience listed below, and
* Have at least 5+ year's relevant local working experience in the field.
The successful candidate will need tohave experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers, beresponsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Designing and developing Power Apps to support business processes.
* Implementing Dataverse as the primary data store for records.
* Designing and configuring Power Automate flows to support data validation, workflow automation, and notifications.
* Migrating existing data from SharePoint Lists to Dataverse.
* Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.
* Applying appropriate security roles, permissions, and governance controls.
* Collaborating with business users to refine requirements and iterate solutions.
* Producing clear technical and operational documentation including - data model and solution design, application configuration and support and maintenance requirements.
* Delivering user training, knowledge transfer, and hyper-care support following deployment
Technical skills:
* Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps canvas/model driven apps and Power Automate flows.
* Consulting skills such as solution architecture design, and stakeholder management.
* Experience implementing governance policies for applications and data within Dataverse.
* Strong communication skills for collaborating across internal teams.
* Ability to troubleshoot and optimise performance of complex workflows, application and data connections.
* Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 PlatformBase.
