About the Centre/Service
Yarram Early learning is a 141-place childcare centre located in the regional town of Yarram in the Wellington Shire. Yarram Early Learning is a not-for-profit centre run by a committee of local residents. We also offer 2 OSHC services in the region. One in Yarram and one in the neighbouring town of Alberton. We also offer Vacation Care, based in Yarram. Our aim is to work in partnership with our local community to meet their needs and support and care for children from diverse cultural backgrounds and with varying emotional, social and cognitive needs. Our facility has an indoor and outdoor program along with access to a wide range of activities at the neighbouring library, wetlands, swimming pool, park, and botanic gardens.

Qualifications
Key Selection Criteria:
* Certificate III in Early Childhood or a Diploma in Early Childhood
* A valid Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
* Experience working in an Early Childhood Services environment with demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality framework, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework and Regulations
* Experience in leading a room or team is highly regarded
* Have great communication and interpersonal skills to build and grow relationships with colleagues, families, and community members
* Ability to attend paid staff meetings and other centre directed activities outside working hours
* A minimum of two professional references
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Friendly, professional manner with the ability to focus in a busy, noisy environment.
* Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards or completion of the Australian Human Rights Commission Child Safe Standard modules highly regarded
