Who You Are
* An experienced roof plumber with 3+ years in roofing installation and construction
* You must be an Australian citizen to meet security clearance requirements
* Qualified with a Certificate IV in Roof Plumbing or equivalent (highly preferred)
* Licensed with White Card, High Risk Work license (HRW), Elevating Work Platform (EWP) license, Driver's licence, and hold a National Police Clearance
* Competent in Working at Heights and preferably trained in First Aid
* Possess detailed technical knowledge of roofing materials, construction standards, installation techniques, repair methods, and maintenance
* Skilled in interpreting project plans and specifications with strong attention to detail
* Effective communicator with experience supervising teams and managing stakeholder interactions
* Ability to mentor trades assistants and apprentices, promoting continuous learning and best practices
What You'll Do
* Follow plan specifications to install, maintain, and repair roofing and drainage systems according to company standards
* Install and maintain gutters, downpipes, safety mesh, insulation, vapour barriers, roofing, cladding materials, and flashings
* Fabricate roofing materials and shape metal sheeting and flashings as required
* Interpret drawings and construction plans to determine materials and apply workflows
* Work under supervision of Roofing Supervisor and Site Supervisors to plan and complete projects on time and within standards
* Identify and elevate technical issues to supervisors promptly
* Provide guidance and training to Apprentice Roof Plumbers and trades assistants, leading by example
* Adhere strictly to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) requirements, including inductions, PPE, hazard reporting, and participation in toolbox meetings
* Report incidents, injuries, safety hazards, and faulty tools to site management
* Perform other duties within scope and experience as directed
