Key Operations Role
Are you an organized and proactive professional with a passion for managing the behind-the-scenes aspects of a dynamic organization? We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise in leadership, event management, marketing, and finance to drive business success. You will be responsible for leading daily operations, supporting staff and volunteers, building competitions and events, and developing policies and governance frameworks.
* Leadership: Drive Daily Operations, support staff and volunteers to shine, manage budgets, funding, and sponsorships, maintain and improve facilities.
* Event Management: Build competitions, programs, and events that grow the game, work with clubs, schools, councils, Netball QLD and more.
* Marketing: Demonstrate experience with relevant technology platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, CMS/membership registration systems, social media.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 1-2 years of management experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Sport and Recreation Management, Business, Events, Community Development, or a related field
* Equivalent experience in a similar management role, especially within a sporting or community organization

The successful candidate will need to hold or be eligible for a Queensland government Blue Card. Priority will be given to applicants already based in Far North Queensland.
