State-Wide Mental Health Strategy Development Specialist
This is a six-month contract role with the possibility of extension.
Based in Milton, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of a state-wide mental health strategy and require strategy development skills with a focus on mental health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing a state-wide mental health strategy, focusing on prevention, promotion, and early intervention.
* Undertake research to inform the strategy's content and develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the project's outcomes are met.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in mental health prevention, promotion, and early intervention.
* Ability to develop strategies and policies to deliver government priorities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create educational materials and resources.
* Experience working in strategy and/or policy development, preferably with a mental health and wellbeing focus.
Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, public health, or social work.
