About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will work across the service to support high‐quality educational programs and consistent practice. Key responsibilities include:
* Planning, delivering and evaluating learning programs aligned with the EYLF, NQF and NQS
* Documenting children's learning, development and assessments
* Applying observation, assessment and critical reflection to inform practice
* Ensuring safe, hygienic and inclusive environments that support children's wellbeing
* Collaborating with the Nominated Supervisor, Educational Leader and educators to ensure consistent, high‐quality practice across all rooms
* Building positive, respectful relationships with families and communicating effectively about children's development
* Supporting service‐wide planning, administration and Quality Improvement Plan processes
* Upholding regulatory standards, Council policies and confidentiality requirements
Salary and Benefits
* Salary Range: Grade 5 — $41.33 to $46.15 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
* 12% superannuation

What We're Looking For
You have:
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting families
* Strong knowledge of the NQF, National Law, Regulations, NQS and EYLF, with the ability to apply these in practice
* Experience planning, implementing and evaluating early childhood programs
* The ability to mentor, guide and support educators within a team environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good judgement, problem‐solving skills and the ability to adapt in routine and non‐routine situations
* Strong organisational skills to plan work, manage competing priorities and meet compliance requirements
* NSW Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates
* Australian residency or valid work visa
You also have:
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (AQF Level 7) or equivalent ACECQA‐approved qualification, with at least two years of relevant experience
Bonus points if you also have:
* Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, documentation tools)
* Class C, P1 or P2 Driver Licence
