Sales Assistant
Reports to: The Sales Assistant will report to the Sales Assistants Team Leader.
Job Summary
The Sales Assistant is responsible for maintaining communication with assigned Sales Representatives and customers to ensure orders are processed efficiently and on time. Responsibilities include overseeing order completion, cross-checking invoices and artwork for accuracy, and coordinating with internal departments to meet deadlines. The position also requires managing customer communications, processing purchase orders, and handling changes as needed. Additionally, the role may involve managing Sales Representatives' email accounts during their leave.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Maintain constant communication with assigned Sales Representatives on order status, taking over communications where possible.
* Oversee order completion for assigned Sales Representatives, including monitoring orders on Struddys order tracker, to ensure deadlines are met.
* Communicate with customers regarding their orders via email, phone, or face to face.
* Cross-check invoices and artwork with original order to ensure requirements were met before sending to customers.
* Send artwork and invoices to customers for payment and approval.
* Communicate with customers on changes, and process changes through internal inbox.
* Complete and process purchase orders and pick from stock orders for your assigned Sales Representatives.
* Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timeframes are met.
* May be required to manage Sales Representatives email account whilst they are on leave.
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
* Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.
