About the Role
The Graduate Game Designer & Mathematician role is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to utilise their mathematics and creative skills to assist in the design and development of land-based slot games. You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside a talented team of mathematicians, artists, engineers and producers. This is a fantastic opportunity to build an exciting and rewarding career in a highly supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Build complex mathematical models which replicate player behaviour and game outcomes
* Contribute toward new and innovative game concepts
* Assist the artistic and engineering teams to develop and implement exciting features
* Utilise software packages and languages such as Python, C++ & Unity to build simulations and implement game features
About You
* An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a similar maths related field
* A passion for gaming and an interest in creating games for a global audience
* An appreciation of programming languages and tools such as Python, C++, R, MATLAB and Unity to build mathematical simulations and implement software features
* A deep understanding of statistics, probability and gaming mathematics
* The ability to research player habits and competitor performance to become an industry expert
