Role
We are seeking a Senior application Specialist to join our customer team. This is on-site working from customer office at Laverton. This role reports into Practice Manager.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Application Development, Enhancement, and Support of technical components in 3rd party applications
* Enhancements to application components where appropriate
* Respond to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate and resolve
* Follow ITIL best practice for incident management
* Proactively check processes with a view to identifying issues before they affect deliverables
* Analysis of data-related issues to determine how best to resolve application integrity issues
* Application Support for all business applications and interfaces
* Technical assistance for business teams relating to general application queries affecting their functional areas.
* Involvement in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to production support
* Ensure database performance, replication and data backups are operating efficiently
Requirements and Experience
* HTML
* C# (Model-View-Controller or similar pattern, secure Web API, Deployment and packaging)
* JSON
* Object-oriented programming concepts
* Microsoft SQL server 2017 (or later version): TSQL, stored procedures/views, knowledge in database schema, indexing, performance optimisation
* .NET Core 3.1 or later version (latest is .NET 8.x)
* Version control
* Internet Information Services (IIS)
Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA Baseline Security clearance, NV1 is preferred.

* Automated testing
* Jira/confluence (Altassian suite)
