As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are received from suppliers on time and undamaged. The role will assist with loading and unloading of products and various branch activities as required. Your key responsibilities will include: Picking and packing – Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring items are properly packaged and ready for shipment. Order management – Receiving goods from suppliers, ensuring they are undamaged and match the orders placed. Customer interaction – Engaging professionally with customers and providing the best service. Paperwork completion – Ensuring all relevant documentation is correctly filled out. Warehouse upkeep – Maintaining a clean and presentable warehouse environment. Occasional deliveries – Ad-hoc delivery driving and various duties for the branch as needed to support smooth operations. What you’ll need to succeed: Strong communication skills – Able to build rapport easily with customers and team members. Previous experience in a warehouse or trade environment – Electrical wholesale experience is a strong advantage, but not essential. Physically capable – Comfortable with manual handling tasks, including picking, packing, and lifting items. High attention to detail – Accuracy in order preparation and safety-conscious at all times. Technically capable – Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using basic warehouse systems. Proactive and motivated – A “can-do” attitude, hardworking nature, and ability to work both independently and in a team. Well-presented and personable – Professional appearance and a friendly, supportive manner. Licence – Must hold a valid Drivers licence and ideally a forklift licence.
