What you'll be doing
The Store Manager in Training (SMIT) Program is a 6‑month journey designed to prepare you for a Store Manager position. Responsibilities include:
* Leadership and professional development courses
* Shadowing experienced Store Managers across multiple locations
* Mentorship and coaching throughout the program
* Managing the financial performance of the store
* Building, coaching and inspiring your team
* Deploying plans and strategies to increase sales
* Implementing strategies to reduce shrinkage and expenses
* Undertaking caretaking responsibilities
To be successful in this role you'll have
* Completed the Stretch Program within the last three years
* Successfully completed a period of Store Manager caretaking
* An active Individual Development Plan (IDP)
* Endorsement from your current Store Manager
