About the Position
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a skilled Estate Litigation Lawyer to join our client’s high-performing disputes division. This role will see you working across a diverse and challenging mix of estate matters including family provision claims, will contests, trust disputes, and contested probate issues. You’ll have the chance to run your own files while being backed by experienced litigators and a collegiate support team. The role involves regular court appearances and the opportunity to collaborate with other practice groups, including the Wills & Estates and Commercial teams, giving you wide exposure and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a busy caseload of estate disputes from initial consultation to final resolution
* Handling complex matters involving fiduciary breaches, executor disputes, and contested wills
* Appearing before the Supreme Court, District Court, and tribunals
* Providing strategic legal advice with compassion and clarity
* Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
Key Requirements
* 2–5+ years PAE in estate litigation or a similar legal area
* Strong knowledge of WA succession and probate law
* Demonstrated experience managing files independently
* Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and drafting capabilities
* A team-oriented approach with a genuine passion for client service
