Job Title: B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)
We are seeking an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our Joint Adversarial Training & Testing Services (JATTS) Program in the beautiful Shoalhaven region near Nowra NSW.
About the Role
* Hold safety as a core value and contribute to a zero harm and incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position.
* Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer as part of a CASA CAR30 Maintenance Organisation delivering services within the CASA Aerial Work Category.
* Ensure all aircraft maintenance, documentation and certification is carried out and completed in line with the System of Maintenance and Engineering Procedures Manuals.
* Deploy with Aircraft to provide maintenance and logistics support both nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety leadership and participation in all relevant safety programs.
* Delivery of high-quality maintenance services within the CASA Aerial Work Category.
* Supervision of maintenance personnel and support for apprentices when required.
* Maintenance of the hangar and workshop facilities.
* Point of contact for work-related phone calls whilst on duty.
* Implementation of shift/task handovers.
Qualification Requirements
* Experienced LAME B1.
* Availability to complete the Learjet 35/36 type course if not currently type rated. Type course provided by Raytheon if required.
Desirable Qualifications
* Current Part 66 B1 license Learjet 35/36 type rating.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Forklift license.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
