We are hiring for a Shift Payment Investigation Operation Analyst.
The Shift Payment Investigation Operation Analyst is responsible for investigating payment operations, particularly direct entry and NPP payment traces. This role involves tasks like tracing payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.
Position Objectives:
Direct Entry and NPP Trace: Utilize your experience to trace direct entry and NPP payments, identifying discrepancies with precision.
Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve payment discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Provide operational, administrative, and customer support for business systems.
Ensure daily processing of files, transactions, payments, and operational tasks are completed.
Review business operations to ensure operational controls are effective and relevant.
Monitor systems and liaise with stakeholders for early issue detection and resolution.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (AusPaynet and AP+/Osko) and manage fraud and risk.
Assist with planning, testing, and verification of system changes.
Maintain contingency arrangements for systems, operations, and stakeholders.
Monitor electronic file receipt and distribution.
Manage shift operations and rectify problems as they occur.
Support the oversight of shifts to meet SLAs and provide relief as needed.
Reconcile suspense and clearing accounts daily and follow up on differences.
Ensure enquiry and tracing services are available for customers and institutions.
Reconcile returned items and support related activities.
Develop and maintain administrative procedures, testing protocols, and perform system testing.
Technical Capabilities
Payment Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of direct entry and NPP systems, processes, and regulations.
Banking and Financial Knowledge: Familiarity with banking operations and payment protocols.
Data Analysis: Skills in data analysis tools and techniques to identify patterns and anomalies.
Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
Fraud Detection: Knowledge of techniques to identify suspicious transactions.
Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues.
Communication Skills: Effective interaction with teams, clients, and regulators.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry changes.
Customer Service Skills: If applicable, provide strong customer support.
Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of investigations and activities.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience.
