About this opportunity
We are seeking highly skilled and trade-qualified Fitters to join our Northern Territory operation. These positions can be based at Darwin or Remote Mining Operations, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles, plant, and mobile equipment as per OEM guidelines.
* Managing breakdowns of equipment and vehicles to maximise operational productivity.
* Assisting in the development and training of co-workers.
Our Successful Applicant should possess:
* Qualifications: Cert III in Mechanical or Engineering Trade qualifications.
* Experience: Proven proficiency in drill rig repair and maintenance.
* Skills: Preferably adept at hydraulic problem-solving.
* Additional Assets: Trade qualification in Diesel/Automotive/Mechanical disciplines, 2+ years of repair and maintenance experience, and field service experience (desirable but not essential).
