TEN - The Technical and Engineering Network – Perth WA
Senior Structural Estimator position based in Perth, WA. An established WA contractor is looking to bring on a Senior Structural Estimator to support delivery of some of the state's largest transport and infrastructure projects. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you'll be part of a highly experienced estimating and planning team, working across a mix of major tier-one bids and standalone packages. The focus is on MRWA bridge and structural works, with tenders ranging from $50M through to $1B+.
This role suits an estimator who enjoys getting into the detail—someone who understands construction sequencing, productivity, and how projects are actually built.
What You'll Be Doing
* Build detailed estimates for MRWA structural and bridge packages
* Support large, complex tenders as part of a wider bid team
* Take ownership of standalone estimates from $50M+
* Develop pricing based on methodology, sequencing, and real productivity
* Work closely with planners, engineers, and construction teams
* Review subcontractor pricing and proposed construction approaches
* Use industry estimating software to deliver accurate, competitive submissions

Salary: $180K – $260K + Super (dependent on experience)
What You'll Bring
* Strong experience estimating MRWA structural or bridge projects
* Background in bridges, precast concrete, or major civil structures
* Exposure to large-scale infrastructure tenders
* Practical understanding of construction sequencing and outputs
* Comfortable working hands-on and in detail
* Experience with estimating systems (Zenith or similar preferred)
* Solid WA infrastructure experience
