**About the role**: 
Our client is currently seeking a highly experienced MRI Technologist to oversee their MRI department and provide exceptional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services at their practice located in Ballarat.
As the MRI Supervisor, you will lead a team of professionals in delivering quality patient care using state-of-the-art technology on both 1.5 and 3T Siemens scanners.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Ensuring a high-quality and efficient MRI service for patients and referrers 
- Providing training, support, and mentoring to the MRI team 
- Coordinating and supervising the operational activities of the MRI team 
- Ensuring the safe and efficient use of MRI equipment, resolving faults/issues, and liaising with vendors and management as required 
- Contributing to the growth and development of MRI services 
- Collaborating with Radiologists, modality supervisors, and staff to maintain clinical excellence

**To be considered for this role, you must have**:
- A degree qualification in Medical Imaging, preferably with a post-graduate or business degree. 
- A strong background in MRI, with at least Level 1 MRI ASMIRT qualifications 
- At least 5 years of experience working in an MRI Radiology department. 
- Strong leadership skills and highly developed interpersonal skills are also essential.
