Job Details 2 Day Nanny Educator (15851) Avalon Beach 2 days per week with children aged 4 years, 7 years & 11 years Rate: $40.30 - $45.38 (L3-Dip) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf) Monday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Tuesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Flex with times This family would like: A super clever, funny, and active 4-year-old is looking for a kind and engaging Educator to provide fun, stimulating activities alongside calm transitions and thoughtful guidance as he navigates the world of neurodiversity, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and emotional regulation. Little one has two older siblings who will be in sessions of care during the evening. The focus of this role is to foster autonomy and sense of choice. Family is seeking someone who is collaborative and able to work closely with the existing support team, demonstrating professionalism and the right temperament for a nurturing yet dynamic environment. The ideal educator will be calm, encouraging, and skilled at supporting children through challenging moments with patience and empathy. The family home is warm and caring, always filled with laughter and love and can sometimes be a little chaotic. While prior experience supporting children with complex behaviours is preferred, it is not essential. Candidates with the right attitude, openness, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. You must: - Have obtained or are working towards your Cert III, Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree in Primary Education and are registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state - Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references. - Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid - Have a car & driver's licence - Be willing to commit for at least 12 months - Full working rights in Australia.
