Our organization is seeking a compassionate and values-driven Team Leader to guide and support a dedicated team of financial counsellors and capability workers. In this leadership role, you will empower your team and contribute to a service that not only eases financial stress but restores dignity and strengthens futures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with regional, state, and national management to ensure efficient operation of services according to budget and quality standards.
* Assist in preparing funding submissions and reports to establish new services once funding is obtained.
* Provide professional supervision to team members to ensure smooth operation, welfare, and effective performance.
* Ensure systems are in place to meet service requirements, standards, and regulations.
* Develop options with clients enabling them to deal with their situations effectively.
Requirements:
* Accreditation as a Financial Counsellor (highly regarded)
* Diploma of Financial Counselling or equivalent (or working towards)
* Ability to work within a counselling framework (or working towards)
* Willingness to commence training as a Financial Counsellor and complete the Diploma of Financial Counselling as expediently as possible
* Experience in welfare, community services, counselling, or business/finance (preferable)
