The Practice:
Our group comprises two neighboring general medical clinics, providing a wide range of services, from general practice to skin cancer and cosmetic medicine. With 8 dedicated doctors, 5 compassionate nurses, and 9 efficient admin/reception staff, we're a bustling medical hub that's ready to grow.
**Duties**:
As our Practice Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Team building and management
- Practice administration and accreditation
- Financial management
- Staying updated on the latest relevant legislation
- Leading the integration and implementation of new Technology in the practice
Professional Skills:
While experience as a Practice Manager is recommended, we're open to considering experience in a similar management role. You should have:
- Strong financial and bookkeeping skills or a willingness to learn
- Exceptional computer literacy, including proficiency in Pracsoft, Medical Director, Word, and Excel
- Proficiency in MBS, Medicare incentives, DVA, Work Comp, and private client billing
Qualifications:
Highly desirable qualifications include:
- Certificate III in Health Administration or Business Administration (Medical)
- Diploma in Practice Management
- Diploma in Advanced Bookkeeping or Accounting
- Admin Staff: If you have experience in customer service or administration, we'd love to hear from you. Honesty and reliability are qualities we hold dear, and we're here to provide training and support._
Remuneration:
This Flexible Full/ part-time role (30-38 hrs/week ) offers a competitive pay rate. you will be employed under the health professionals and support services award and the hourly rates will be 28-30 for the admin staff and 35-40 for the management role depending on your skills, experience, and performance.
