Job Description
* Oversee the day‐to‐day operations of the warehouse, ensuring optimal efficiency.
* Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimise discrepancies.
* Manage and lead the logistics team, fostering a productive work environment.
* Ensure all warehouse processes comply with relevant safety and quality standards.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
* Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
* Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance and logistics metrics.
* Resolve any operational issues promptly to maintain high service levels.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Warehouse Manager should have:
* Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management within the 3PL industry.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.
* Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem‐solving abilities and a proactive approach.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to a warehouse setting.
* Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
* Capability to analyse data and implement strategic improvements.
* Excellent IT and WMS systems knowledge; experience rolling out new systems is an added advantage.
* Forklift licence is a big added advantage.
