This full time Independent Living Retail Assistant role at The Friendlies Independent Living in Gympie, Queensland offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the retail and consumer products industry. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the operations of our independent living store.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers and responding to their inquiries
- Accurately process sales transactions and handle cash and payments
- Maintain store cleanliness, organisation and visual merchandising standards
- Receive, unpack and stock incoming inventory
- Assist with general store operations and duties as required
- Assist with the sales of rehabilitation aids and Care Packages procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the independent living or healthcare sector
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude
