This role will assist the team in delivering optimum outcomes in compliance, financial reporting, and tax reporting.

Your key responsibilities Record expenses and raise billing for Platform entitiesComplete month-end processes accurately and on schedulePrepare the Platform's annual financial report and income tax calculationsLodge Workers Compensation declarations and ensure correct calculation of Payroll Tax and Fringe Benefits TaxPost accounting journals and accrue expenses per agreementsPerform balance sheet reconciliationsEnsure timely and accurate billing of all feesCalculate AFSL requirements to maintain complianceGenerate month-end reportsCompile data for monthly and quarterly activity statements (BAS and IAS) for Group entitiesAssist with Fringe Benefits Tax reportingPrepare and report Payroll Tax liability and workers compensation across three statesSupport preparation of annual streamlined financial reports for the Group and external auditPrepare annual financial reports for subsidiary companies What you bring Commerce or Business Degree majoring in AccountingWorking towards a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA)3+ years' experience in a similar roleExperience within the property sector (desirable, not essential)Proactive approach with a keen desire to learn and implement best practiceStrong attention to detail and lateral thinkingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHands-on approach and strong teamwork within a matrixed finance groupSound negotiation and influencing skills at all levelsGood knowledge of reporting systems (Voyager desirable but not essential)Strong understanding of Accounting Standards and their applicationKnowledge of company tax, FBT, and payroll tax What we offer Career Development: Leadership programs, education assistance, study support, professional membership fee supportLifestyle: We offer generous parental leave, return to work program, and summer hoursInclusive Culture: A safe, welcoming environment for all, including individuals from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, the LGBTQ+ community, and those who are neurodivergentFlexibility: We do our best to support you to be able to do the things that are important to you.
