Infection prevention and control is a critical component of patient safety, and we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Infection Prevention Coordinator.

This role will involve coordinating and managing the implementation of current infection prevention and control standards, monitoring and evaluating infection prevention and control procedures, practices, and standards. You will work closely with our executive team, managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that our hospital maintains the highest level of infection control and prevention.

* Coordinate and manage the implementation of current infection prevention and control standards
* Monitor and evaluate infection prevention and control procedures, practices, and standards
* Work closely with the executive team, managers, and multidisciplinary teams
* Participate in relevant committees and working groups
* Collect, collate, and analyze identified statistical data and trends
* Comply with relevant legislative requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs)


About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced infection prevention specialist to join our team and contribute to maintaining the highest level of patient safety and care.

You will be responsible for:

* Developing and implementing infection prevention and control policies and procedures
* Providing education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices
* Monitoring and evaluating infection rates and developing strategies to improve them
* Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives and projects
