About The Role
In this role, you'll be working in our 9 bed medical unit, delivering high-quality, efficient, and effective care tailored to the individual needs of patients and their families or carers. You'll play a key role in supporting informed decision-making, advocating for patients, and contributing to safe and seamless care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and assist in coordinating patient-centred nursing care to achieve individual clinical outcomes
* Communicate sensitively with patients and families, advocating for their needs and ensuring their voices are heard
* Support and inform patients and their families so they can understand clinical interventions and make informed healthcare decisions
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in line with professional standards
* Proactively engage with patients to understand their needs and enhance the delivery of care
* Ensure nursing practice upholds the rights and dignity of all individuals
* Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
About You
You will bring:
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
* A strong commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach
* The ability to work collaboratively within a team
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
