EDU has a Shared Services team, which includes the Group's Sales and Marketing, Finance and Human Resources functions. The Shared Services teamwork with and service both ALG and Ikon.
**About the role**
EDU is looking for a Sales Manager in Brisbane to focus on international student recruitment for both ALG and Ikon.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic international marketing and sales plan for EDU and its subsidiaries, as well as leading and delivering sales targets within their remit. The Sales Manager will also work within the international team and ancillary services, e.g., admissions and student experience (CX) and other EDU institutions and entities leveraging joint international recruitment efforts.
This role is key in establishing, maintaining, and monitoring a quality agent network of partners onshore and offshore. Furthermore, EDU (its subsidiaries) must maintain its Visa Processing arrangements by recruiting students who fall within the established genuine temporary entrant parameters outlined by relevant governmental legislation.
This position operates in a high volume, high pressure, and target-driven environment that focuses on meeting expected revenue numbers. The successful applicant may be required to work outside of "normal" working hours to attend events or meet required deadlines. Interstate and overseas travel may be required.
**About you**
You are a passionate 'people person' with experience in the international student market (ideally in both VET and HE).
You can initiate and manage business relationships across a diverse group of cultures, to work well in a team, as well as autonomously.
You have effective communication and presentation skills and pride yourself on delivering excellent customer service to both external and internal stakeholders.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**_ Sales Management_**
- Own and deliver the international enrolment sales targets for EDU and its subsidiaries
- Manage collaboratively individual, region and campus-specific sales targets with team members as appropriate
- Accurately forecast sales results, working closely with the Director, International Growth and DX
- Drive sales programs and processes to increase sales conversion for the international market segment
- Focus on the conversion of pipeline from enquiry to enrolment
**_ Account Management _**
- Management and coordination of education partners and the establishment and maintenance of agreement and incentive arrangements, as needed and in conjunction with the team
- Contribution to the agent marketing program
- including marketing to and with agents
- Responsibility for the compliance aspects of agent management
- High-level stakeholder engagement with regional and state-based agents
- Problem-solving with any student or CX issues where needed
**_ Marketing _**
- Contribution to the development and implementation of the EDU's (and its subsidiaries) strategic international marketing and recruitment plan
- Evaluation of international market opportunities for EDU's product portfolio
- Be the expert for the state and regional international student market, ensuring EDU maximises opportunities for revenue growth in the segment
- Contribution to the development and execution of international marketing campaigns, working closely with the EDU brand marketing teams and the Director, International Growth and DX
- Adherence to and monitoring of budgets
**_ Compliance_**
- Manage regulatory and compliance requirements in coordination with EDU's (and its subsidiaries) compliance team
- Ensure students recruited via agents or direct are genuine and are not an SVP risk
**_ Financial _**
- Assist the finance team as/when needed with agents and student of chasing unpaid fees
**_ In addition:_**
- Ensure that you comply with EDU (and its subsidiaries) Health and Safety policy, all other internal policies and procedures, and any relevant external legislative requirements
- Co-operate and participate in activities relating to compliance with all health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
- Maintain Standards under ASQA/TEQSA and National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018
**Qualifications, experience, and skills**:
- Experience in the international student market is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years' sales and marketing experience overall, preferably international market within the education sector
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales plans
