Culinary Manager Wanted at Aged Care Home
We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead our catering team in creating nutritious and delicious meals for our residents. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday.
About the Role:
As Culinary Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Catering Department, overseeing food service staff, and ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals that meet both nutritional and compliance standards. You will also lead the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the Food Safety Program, ensuring all operations meet formal accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of the Catering Department
* Oversight of food service staff
* Ensure high-quality meal preparation
* Implement and evaluate Food Safety Program
* Meet formal accreditation and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
* Experience in Residential Aged Care
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Completion of a Food Handling Course
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Background in the hospitality industry
* Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements
