* Preparing and lodging STP, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and workers compensation reporting
* Completing payroll reconciliations, journals, leave balances, and general ledger interfaces in collaboration with Finance
* Managing payroll queries and providing timely, accurate support to stores and Support Office
* Maintaining audit‐ready payroll documentation and supporting internal and external audits
* Acting as the payroll SME for system configuration, enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting
* Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and operational efficiency
* Providing payroll reporting, insights, and labour cost analysis to HR, Finance, and senior leadership
* Supporting payroll‐related compliance reviews and internal store audits

Who are we looking for?

You're a detail‐driven payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast‐paced, multi‐site environment and takes pride in getting payroll right.

You will bring:

* 5-7 years of end‐to‐end payroll experience across multi‐entity or multi‐site organisations
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Fair Work, NES, STP, superannuation, and payroll tax
* Demonstrated capability interpreting Industrial Awards and Enterprise Agreements (Restaurant and Fast Food Industry Awards preferred)
* High proficiency with payroll systems (Employment Hero experience highly regarded)
* Strong reconciliation, reporting, and payroll data analysis skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and a strong compliance mindset
* Ability to manage complex payroll issues, deadlines, and sensitive information with discretion
