About the role
B Dinsdale Constructions PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to contribute to the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties in the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Constructing and renovating homes
* Reading and interpreting plans, and specifications to complete projects
* Utilising hand and power tools to measure, cut, and assemble wood components
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to safety protocols
* Collaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate efficient project delivery
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Carpentry or relevant trade certificate
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
* Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Concreting experience preferred
