Competitive salary and benefits:
Salary range: $90,832 to $100,071 p.a. (AO4)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
The purpose of this role is to coordinate work-related and non-work-related injury and illness rehabilitation, as well as return-to-work services, across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS).
The role focuses on early intervention and improving safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes to reduce workplace injury, claims costs, and claim durations, while also enhancing staff health and wellbeing.
The incumbent will provide advice and support to staff, line managers, and senior management, and will partner with external stakeholders to minimise the impact of injury or illness, with the aim of returning injured workers to their pre-injury role.
Requirements:
Whilst not mandatory, completion of an approved rehabilitation and return to work coordinator training course will be highly regarded.
