Job Description
Detailed Job Description: Collaborate in the project framework, including planning, organization, and governance setup for Workday Financials implementations. Conduct workshops to identify, specify, and analyze business and technical requirements. Draft general functional specifications and configure Workday Financials modules (e.g., Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Cash to Contract, Asset Management, Supplier Accounts, Banking & Settlement, Expenses). Monitor and follow up on the progress of configurations, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Define and execute testing scenarios to validate solutions and ensure compliance with regional financial regulations. Support deployment and provide user assistance during the transition, including post-go-live support. Deliver training sessions to users and establish a robust change management plan.
Mission Summary: As a senior workday financial architect, you will be responsible for leading complex financial projects from inception to delivery, driving business growth through technology innovation, and fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
* Significant experience in Workday Financials projects, including end-to-end implementation, support, or migration.
* Hands-on experience in functional development and solution architecture within Workday Financials.
* Deep knowledge of Workday Financials modules such as Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Cash to Contract (C2C), Asset Management, Supplier Accounts, Banking & Settlement, and Expenses.
* Workday Financials certifications in multiple modules are highly valued.
* Experience with multi-country rollouts, multi-currency environments, and compliance with regional financial regulations.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse environments and act as the primary point of contact for clients.
* Dynamic, proactive, and responsive in communication.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Willingness and readiness to relocate to Australia.
