About the Role
Full‐time, 2‐year fixed‐term lecturer position at Swinburne University of Technology's Design Factory Melbourne (DFM), Hawthorn campus. The role supports Swinburne's Ad Astra 2030 vision, delivering industry‐integrated, studio‐based learning, applied research and innovation services.
Key Accountabilities
* Design and deliver hands‐on, studio‐based learning experiences that connect theory with innovation practice.
* Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate innovation‐based course units.
* Lead or coordinate teaching teams and support the enhancement of curricula.
* Engage with industry, startups and larger ecosystems to co‐create projects, deliver innovation initiatives and support student work‐integrated learning.
* Publish high‐quality research in applied innovation (desirable).
Qualifications
* PhD or equivalent tertiary qualification aligned to innovation methodology.
* Demonstrated experience teaching in a university setting.
* Experience leading or coordinating higher‐education teams and contributing to course committees.
