Job Description

Our Building Services team specialises in the planning, design, monitoring, and inspection of hydraulic systems. We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Canberra. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects across multiple sectors, including Defence, Data Centres, Space, Commercial, Hospitals, Highways, Rail & Metro, and Airports. You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with industry and governmental standards while contributing to innovative solutions.

How you'll make a difference
* Support in managing and designing heating, cooling, and ventilation demands, as well as energy‐efficient HVAC systems using sustainable solutions to reduce energy consumption.
* Assist with the evaluation and inspection of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards.
* Contribute to the development of proposals, progress reports, and technical findings for clients and stakeholders.
* Work closely with multi‐disciplinary teams to help achieve project objectives.

Qualifications
* Graduate Attributes: We're seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
* Bachelor's Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.
* Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
* Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid‐year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027.
* Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
