Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Chef Manager to lead the daily culinary operations at our aged care residence in Toronto, just a 35 minute drive from Newcastle, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering an exceptional dining experience while ensuring a well-organised and efficient kitchen environment.

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities
* Dual responsibilities in food preparation/presentation and site management
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety practices
* Stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking
* Assisting with bulk cooking operations
* Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods
* Participating in administrative and staff hiring, with support from the Operations Manager
Desired Skills And Experience
* A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Experience managing labour, food, and operational costs
* Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
