This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.


Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

* Culturally Safe Care: You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing care that is respectful of their cultural background.
* Remote Healthcare Experience: You will gain valuable experience working in remote healthcare settings, developing your skills and knowledge in this area.
* Collaborative Teamwork: You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* A current AHPRA registration.
* A minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience.
* A minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
* A current BLS / CPR certificate.
* A current recognised Immunisation certificate.
* A current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card, or willingness to obtain.
