Product Specialist – Product Data & Analytics (PIM / Master Data) Newly created role with clear progression pathway into Product Management
Keystone Search is partnering with Puretec, a long-established Australian manufacturer delivering water filtration and treatment solutions across Australia and New Zealand, to appoint a Product Specialist.
With continued growth and an expanding product range, Puretec is strengthening product information capability across the business — improving data integrity, documentation control, and internal access to accurate product knowledge.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Product, the Product Specialist will own the integrity and usability of product information across core systems. The role is data and analytics first and will suit someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and solving problems with data in a physical product environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Own master data integrity across active SKUs (weights, dimensions, technical specs, pricing and supporting fields)
* Build and maintain a central product knowledge base (PIM‐style platform) — structure, content and governance
* Manage technical product enquiries via ticketing (allocation, visibility and SLA discipline)
* Deliver monthly warranty reporting and trend insights to support product quality decisions
* Use advanced Excel/Power Query (Python/SQL highly regarded) to audit datasets, identify inconsistencies and prevent repeat errors
* Maintain compliance‐related product documentation (certificates, test reports and technical records)
Candidate Profile
This opportunity suits candidates from product data, master data, catalogue governance, product support or similar backgrounds (manufacturing/wholesale/distribution exposure advantageous).
Key Requirements
* Advanced Excel capability (Power Query helpful) and confidence working with large datasets
* Python/SQL highly regarded (or clear evidence of data‐led problem‐solving)
* ERP experience and comfort working across multiple systems
* Exposure to knowledge management tools and ticketing/helpdesk platforms is beneficial
* High attention to detail with a disciplined approach to fixing root causes
* Comfortable working with physical products and technical documentation (engineering qualification not required)
What's on Offer
* Newly created, high‐impact role with genuine ownership
* Clear development pathway into Product Management over time
* Join a family‐owned and growing Australian manufacturer in a modern, well‐equipped environment
* Positive team culture (including free lunch Fridays)
