Our client, the Public Trustee is a statutory authority
committed to safeguarding the financial and legal interests of
South Australians, particularly those who are vulnerable or unable
to manage their own affairs.
Operating under the
Attorney-General's Department, the Public Trustee provides
professional services in estate administration, trust management,
Will-making, financial administration and taxation.
We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Taxation
Services to lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant and
client-focussed tax services.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a
specialist branch within a respected statutory authority, where
your expertise will directly support the financial wellbeing of
vulnerable South Australians.
Reporting to the Chief Operating
Officer, you will be responsible for strategic planning,
operational leadership and the oversight of complex taxation
matters including personal, trust and deceased estate returns, and
play a key role in ensuring compliance, governance and service
excellence.
This role demands a seasoned professional with a degree in
accounting, commerce or law, and registration as a Tax Agent.
You
will bring deep technical knowledge, strong analytical and
problem-solving capabilities and a proven ability to lead
multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume, high-stakes environment.
Your ability to manage risk, drive continuous improvement and
deliver results with integrity will be key to your success, as will
your ability to provide expert guidance across the organisation on
taxation legislation, superannuation and compliance.
