We are seeking a highly organised, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hire Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating hire equipment, managing customer bookings, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle inbound hire enquiries and customer bookings via phone and email
* Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and servicing in coordination with the transport and workshop teams
* Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Maintain accurate records in our hire software system
* Support the operations and sales team with logistics and hire administration
About You:
* Prior experience in a similar role within the equipment hire industry is highly regarded
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
* Tech-savvy with experience using hire software or similar systems
* A team player with a can-do attitude
