We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in Port Melbourne. In this role, you will partner with leaders across our national operations to foster a positive, fair, and high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities
* Provide expert, commercially sound employee and industrial relations advice across retail stores, warehouses and support office, including investigations, conduct and performance matters, modern award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
* Support organisational change initiatives by implementing initiatives to improve leadership capability in leading their teams
* Working with the learning and development team to to build and implement tools to help employees and leaders navigate the employee lifecycle at National Tiles
* Partner with line managers and employees to prepare for and conduct performance, conduct and investigation meetings, ensuring procedural fairness and appropriate documentation
* Manage end-to-end employee relations casework, maintaining strong matter management practices including accurate documentation, risk assessment and reporting
* Develop and maintain best-practice people and culture team resources, templates, guidance materials and reporting frameworks to manage risk and support informed decision-making
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders while promoting psychological safety, compliance, wellbeing and continuous improvement across the business
* Supporting the broader People and Culture team to achieve their strategic priorities and lifecycle activites
About You
* Demonstrated experience across employee and industrial relations within a multi-site or operationally complex organisation (retail, warehousing or logistics experience highly regarded)
* Strong working knowledge of the Australian industrial relations framework, including modern awards, Enterprise Agreements and the National Employment Standards
* Proven experience managing investigations, performance and conduct matters, change processes and tribunal matters
* Highly developed communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coach and guide leaders at all levels
* A practical, commercially focused and solutions-oriented approach with strong attention to detail and documentation standards
* The ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
