About the role
To provide data analysis, reporting and correction of corrupt data as per business prioritization. To provide support/assistance (where required) to the Production Support and other IT Service Delivery teams
- 12 months Fixed Term Contract role
- Permanent part time role for 2 days per week
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
- Develop and test SQL, PL/SQL Data Fix scripts to correct data corruption, and to update data that cannot be achieved through existing system functionality.
- Take ownership of problems and their resolution.
- Assist with first level Production Support and conduct root cause analysis.
- Provide support/assistance (where required) to the Production Support team.
- Lead the execution of change in order to improve the quality, reliability and efficiency.
- Ensuring agreed development methodologies, processes, standards and strategies are adhered to.
- Build relationships with key Operational managers and leaders in the business.
- Work with business users (in conjunction with Business/Systems Analysts) to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Raise JIRAs, CMS, Rollback Requests and approvals (where required)
Provide timely reporting to manager
Experience & Personal Attributes
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy with a pragmatic approach.
- Experience with SQL and aaspire or other superannuation administration platform an advantage
- Experience with Financial applications (superannuation preferable)
- A quick learner, enthusiastic mentor and capable instructor.
Tertiary qualifications within computer science or an equivalent field (preferable)
