Right at Home Gosford are seeking experienced Personal Care Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing aged care assistance in the community. Our priority is to help our clients live empowered and independent lives at home.
Our boutique home care agency offers services in aged care to clients in their own homes on the Central Coast, NSW. If you are a local Personal Care Worker living on the Central Coast and have care experience, then we would like to talk to you!
Your new role will be responsible for:
Assisting clients with their activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility
Following client care plans and actively identifying client care needs
Communicating and collaborating with the clients care partners and significant others
Following appropriate policies and procedures applicable to clients in their own home
Performing light housekeeping tasks to facilitate client's self-care at home
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent• Current Australian National Police check• Current First Aid and CPR certificate• Full Australian Driver's licence and own reliable insured car
Preferred Skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team• High level of time management and organisational ability• Excellent written and verbal communication• Willingness to participate in further education opportunities
