Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a passionate and experienced teacher to join our Business, Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, delivering, assessing, and evaluating units across various Engineering Technology programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and develop curriculum materials, including computer applications and E-Learning resources, for courses such as Diploma of Engineering Technology (Civil Eng) and Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Civil Eng Design).
* Select and use a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies to cater to a diverse student population.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to establish a collaborative team environment and ensure consistency in resource and delivery strategies.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining quality programs and systems to ensure compliance requirements are met.
Requirements
* Degree, Diploma, or Certificate relevant to the department and industry, along with relevant work experience.
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, including Design and Develop Assessment Tools and Address Adult Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Skills.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in the relevant field, with vocational experience and current competence within the Engineering Technology industry.
* Demonstrated ability to teach Engineering Technology programs and excellent communication skills.
