Food and Cleaning Services Assistant - Scone
Classification: Hospital Assistant Grade 2 – Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time and Part Time. Remuneration: $59,919.26 per annum ($30.21 per hour) plus shift allowances and 12% superannuation. Hours per week: 38 hours (full‑time) and 24 hours (part‑time). Location: Scone Hospital. Applications Close: 11:59 pm Sunday 11 January 2026.

Responsibilities
* Take patient meal orders
* Prepare and distribute meals
* Record patient intakes
* Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment
* Restock linen and stores
* Remove waste in accordance with hygiene standards
* Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in accordance with infection control procedures
Eligibility & Requirements
* Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents or valid work visa)
* Must meet NSW Health Category A immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening requirements
* Will need to upload the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during application
* Will be required to attend an interview and reference checks if shortlisted
* For non‑HealthShare NSW candidates, a physical pre‑employment health assessment will be required (at no cost)
* Permanent roles are open only to Australian citizens and permanent residents; temporary and casual roles accept visa holders
