We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Meadowbank BTR asset. This is a senior, on-the-ground leadership role with full accountability for operational performance, resident experience, team leadership and financial outcomes.
You'll be responsible for setting the tone for the building, building a strong on-site culture, and ensuring Meadowbank delivers on apt's brand promise every day.
What you'll do:
* Take full operational responsibility for the Meadowbank property, ensuring a best-in-class resident experience
* Lead, mentor and develop the on-site team, fostering a high-performing, service-led culture
* Oversee leasing performance, resident retention and community engagement initiatives
* Manage property budgets, forecasts and financial performance, ensuring strong commercial outcomes
* Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, including resident enquiries, issues resolution and service delivery
* Work closely with Marketing and Leasing teams to support lease-up, stabilisation and ongoing occupancy targets
* Build strong relationships with residents, service providers and key stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, safety requirements and operating procedures
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, resident satisfaction and long-term asset performance
* Act as the face of the building, representing apt professionally and authentically
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience leading large-scale residential, BTR, hospitality or mixed-use assets
* Strong people leader with a track record of building engaged, customer-focused teams
* Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and driving performance outcomes
* Passion for delivering exceptional resident or customer experiences
* Confident communicator who builds trust with residents, teams and stakeholders
* Comfortable using property management systems and modern technology
* Relevant real estate qualifications and/or tertiary education in property, hospitality or a related field highly regarded
