The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
Business Development Manager
to join our team,
based in Warragul, VIC.
This is a dynamic "hunter" role focused on securing new business across a new, high-potential territory with massive growth opportunities.

In addition to driving new business, you will be responsible for managing a prestigious, large-scale, and highly lucrative new accoun
t
recently secured in the region. The position offers the autonomy of a field-based role with the support of our established Glen Iris hub.

Key Responsibilities

* New Business Development:
Hunt for new opportunities and convert leads within an untouched, high-potential territory.
* Customer Management:
Act as the primary lead for a major, high-value account in the area to drive satisfaction and retention.
* Sales and Growth:
Achieve sales targets and ensure profitable growth within your assigned region.
* Administration & Reporting:
Manage contracts, track KPIs, and provide accurate reporting to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Problem Solving & Negotiation:
Address client needs, resolve challenges, and negotiate contracts and pricing effectively.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Operations, and Major Accounts Coordinators, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

* Proven experience in a
BDM or sales-focused "hunter" role
, with a strong passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
* Exceptional customer-facing and relationship management skills, specifically dealing with large accounts.
* Strong administration, reporting, and organizational abilities.
* Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in safety products or similar industries is a bonus but not required.
* Must have full Australian working rights for this role.
