Overview
It's nearly the most magical time of the year. Pillow Talk is hiring for Christmas Casual roles in Sales & Stock and Retail. We seek individuals who are passionate about delighting customers and can learn about linen, homewares, and bedding. The positions are based at the Waurn Ponds store, with opportunities across the country.
Responsibilities
Sales Assistant: Engage customers with confidence, build interpersonal connections, multitask in a dynamic retail environment, and support customers in finding the right home gift ideas.
Contract duration: This role is a maximum-term contract, available now through 25 January 2026.
Stock Assistant: Assist with stock receival, unpacking, and allocation of products to refill the floor or restock the storeroom.
Stock safety: Lift up to 20 kg and follow OHS practices to ensure safety for customers and team members.
Qualifications
Strong personality and confidence; ability to quickly develop connections with customers and colleagues.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a busy retail environment.
Great availability across seven days of the week, with emphasis on weekends.
Excellent listening and problem-solving skills to help customers find suitable home gift ideas.
